Experience authentic longboard racing each winter at Ski Gold Mountain as brave members of the Plumas Ski Club, established in 1951, strap-on 12 foot long skis weighing 20 pounds and race to the finish line at speeds of up to 80 miles per hour.
Imagine eight miles of groomed cruising runs to steep glades, open bowls and airy cornices. We've got great terrain to satisfy every skiing ability. The front, east facing bowl visible from deck of the lodge features groomed ski runs for beginners through strong intermediates. MORE

Ski Gold Mountain consists of 350 acres with a vertical drop of 675 feet reachable presently by poma lifts. An additional 1,325 feet can be achieved by hiking above the current ski lift for 2,000 vertical feet. MORE
